This is a very good Underworld film, as action films go; this is actually the right one because the first, as Underworld: Awakening films go.

The Plot

Thor is a warrior that is thought to be one of the mightiest warriors alive. However, he is not with out flaw and one of these flaws are that of character. Thor’s main characteristic flaws are arrogance, being brash and over confident. Because of these flaws, he reignited an ancient war that was thought to be long settled.

In lieu of his brash actions, he was sent to earth as punishment. Here on earth he learns the lessons of what a real hero means and fights the various evil forces that Asgard sends to invade earth.

The Cast

Chris Hemsworth will play the part of Thor. He is the god of thunder. This character is based on the character of Norse mythology. His most distinguishable characteristic is that of the hammer that he uses to smite his foes.

Tom Hiddleston will play Loki. Loki is Thor’s brother and same as Thor, the character is also based on the Norse god of the same name. It is said that Tom Hiddleston originally wanted to play the part of Thor and is in the auditions for the character. However, the production saw that his talent was more fitted to be Loki.

Natalie Portman will play Jane Foster. She is a nurse and will be Thor’s love interest in the movie. An interesting tidbit on why Natalie Portman accepted this role is that she wanted to play the part out of whim and because she liked the idea of the film being directed by Kenneth Barnagh.

Anthony Hopkins will play Odin. He is king of Asgard and is also based from a god of the Norse mythology. Odin is a stern individual and is strict and a disciplinarian. He banishes Thor from the kingdom after he made a mistake in order to teach him a lesson.

Colm Feore is also in the cast but is said to be cast in an unknown role. It is speculated that he will play the part of a villain but there are other reports that says that he will be cast as a human. Whatever his part maybe, it is sure that he will be an integral part of the story line.

The movie will once again amuse audience with the exciting adventures of Captain Jack Sparrow who is in search of new treasures in Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides. Together with Barbossa, his old friend from previous adventures and shenanigans, they will go to New Orleans to find the most coveted fountain of youth only to find out that another infamous pirate is also there to go after it, as well. The addition of Blackbeard to the story really makes a twist to the plot and fans are already anticipating lots of action and funny scenes with crazy drunk Jack Sparrow making his sly moves to succeed in obtaining the fountain of youth.

Coming on board to play the role of Blackbeard is Golden Globe winner, Ian McShane. Multi-awarded actress and Spanish hottie, Penelope Cruz is also in the Pirates of the Caribbean 4, playing the role of Blackbeard’s daughter and Jack Sparrow’s lady love.

There were rumors that Johnny Depp will not be returning to play Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean 4. In an interview, however, the actor denied rumors and even said that after filming his movie with Angelina Jolie, he will be flying to Hawaii to shoot the much anticipated 4^th installment of the Pirates franchise. Another rumor about a new director, Tim Burton, coming on board was also denied by the production team of the film. Rob Marshall will still be doing the behind the scenes duty of directing the movie.

The addition of Penelope Cruz in the roster of stars in the famous pirate film has sparked so much interest from the press and fans. The star was said to have said yes immediately when offered the female lead role in Pirates of the Caribbean 4.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 is expected to rake more success than the previous installments. Although no trailer has been released yet and other information about the film is closely guarded by the production team, fans and critics alike are already predicting an unexpected twist to the story due to the addition of new characters on the film. With legendary pirate Blackbeard getting in the way of crazy drunk Jack Sparrow, we could only surmise that Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides might just be the best Pirates movie ever released.
