There has been a lot of talk about Spider Man 4 but unfortunately those talks does not involve much about the plot of the upcoming movie but more on who will be working on it and the actors involved in it. The Spider Man series have been the benchmark of comic-based movies for the past few years and it has always been interesting and entertaining to watch. Not to mention of course the fact that the Spider Man movies have been well known to rake in awards and ticket sales and are almost sure to be box office hits. Sam Raimi, the renowned director of the previous Spider Man movies will not be directing Spider Man 4, or so the sources say. There is a bit of a falling out between
Raimi's vision and what the production wants or needs as it is assumed by the bigwigs of Sony so the captain's hat is now passed on to Marc Webb. The fact that his name presents a delicious irony that fans and critics will probably poke fun of or ridicule depending on how Spider Man 4 comes out is just another icing to the cake. A lot of the opinions on Spider Man 4 agree with Sony's decision to pass it to another director. Sometimes things are really getting a little too stale for the franchise's own good. James Franco of the previous Spider Man movies is not worried about the big switch while all comic book fans and movie fans raise their hands in protest. He says that there is no reason that the change should be impossible for Spider Man 4 since comic books change writers and artists all the time. This will give the movies a breath of fresh air which might just be the thing that Spider Man needs with all the competing comic book movies proliferating in the market. Iron Man, Batman, Superman, everyone is stepping up their game and it might be high time that Spider Man 4 be done in the same fashion. Spider Man 4 will drop Maguire and Raimi but in its place is a highly interesting story about Peter Parker's origins. We will see Parker as a teenage boy having problems with his new power and unable to know how to deal with it. Stan Lee, the creator of the Spider Man series says directly that that's how he was originally written when the book was first finished. Keeping up with the times, Spider Man 4 is also speculated to be filmed in 3D. Rather than converting a movie to 3D, the production deems it appropriate for it to be filmed directly in 3D to begin with. This piece of information is sure to provide the fans with a special visual treat when the Spider Man reboot comes.
